The Design-Build Institute of America’s annual conferences got a much-needed facelift.
DBIA Conferences changes branding based on the city in which they are held each year, giving each event individual character at the cost of a consistent identity. I introduced a pyramid icon taken from DBIA’s logo to unify the conferences’ brand across years. This way DBIA could use a variety of aesthetics for its conferences without losing brand recognition.
Custom conference maps, an organized layout, and clean typography characterized the new templates for conference brochures and show guides. 2019’s conference used painterly shapes and bright colors to match the lively Las Vegas atmosphere of that year’s events.
