Hunger for a variety in document types led to an unusual request: a template to create aesthetically pleasing reports in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Many team members already struggled with maintaining consistent text formatting, so making a report template in a program like PowerPoint posed a challenge. Inspiration from Duarte provided a solution: using bullet hierarchy as text styles.
The template had its first application in a large resource package known as PERFORM. A variety of text and image layouts kept the user guide visually appealing and easy to read.
